DIRTY RIG To Guest On WRHU 88.7's 'The Aggressive Edge' Tonight

June 26, 2006

DIRTY RIG, the Long Island, New York-based hard rockers featuring former WARRIOR SOUL frontman Kory Clarke, will be stopping by the studios of WRHU 88.7 (Radio Hofstra University) tonight (June 26) to talk about their new album, "Rock Did It", on the "The Aggressive Edge" show beginning at 11:00 p.m. EST. You can listen to the program live via the Internet at www.wrhu.org.

As previously reported, DIRTY RIG will be doing an in-store performance at Looney Tunes in West Babylon, Long Island this evening (June 26) at 7:00 p.m. sharp. Their debut Escapi Music release, titled "Rock Did It", will be available for sale at the performance a day before the initial June 27 street date. The new CD will include a limited-edition DVD containing footage shot at three different live shows.

DIRTY RIG just filmed their video for the song "Dogs" with director David Brodsky (ALL THAT REMAINS, GOD FORBID) of My Good Eye. "The video is all about the good times of rock 'n' roll," stated bassist Buckshot. "Booze, bikes and babes. Whatever happened to the days when everyone went to concerts and got shit-faced, picked up chicks and the bands could actually play their instruments? This video is like the old-school MÖTLEY CRÜE days."

DIRTY RIG will be doing regional shows in support of the new release and heading to Europe in September. Upcoming dates include:

Jun. 26 - Looney Tunes - West Babylon, Long Island
Jun. 29 - The Continental - New York, NY
Jun. 30 - Dingbatz - Clifton, NJ
Jul. 15 - The Pirates Den - Gloucester, NJ (Philadelphia)
